A little about Martha’s path here:
At a young age, “mARTi” decided to be a teacher and pursued the avenue of art education.
Her vision and determination propelled her throughout the 1980s and early 1990s to become a public school art teacher and private oboe instructor.
Since Marti didn’t conform to the institutional box, she decided to retire from the public school system in 1992 to start a private art studio. She called her hybrid, non-profit company “Cygnet Studios.”
Along the way Marti developed several branches of socially conscious businesses in art, music, eCommerce — coffee and baking.
Though Martha’s career was deliberately destroyed in 2011 through domestic violence. She was forced to flee and close her long-standing, community centered arts business. A few years after evacuating, she developed a Healing with Art program to help domestic abuse survivors.
Marti’s art program can activate creativity, reduce overwhelm, manage mindset, and develop skills that lead to personal prosperity.
